The bottom has also been subject to many repairs. Which led to the silence of the device.

A major repair. Rewinding the choke in the power supply. Failed by the last tar capacitor that was not replaced. Now sound comes out of the amplifier section again

But restoration would lead to a working radio again. We use original components for this. Above old defective capacitor below new original 100% OK capacitor.

But that also succeed. The look of the late 1930s is slowly coming back.

One more capacitor to go. The look is there. This is what it looked like 90 years ago.
