Philips K6

Radiotechniek album
A beautiful Philips K6 color television. The first thing you notice is the messed up power supply.
But first the television itself. This is a Philips K6 in rosewood version.
This photo gives a better view of the device.
Of course the degaussing does not work.
Repair power supply and install original parts.
The Philips K6 chassis.
The keypad with the first mf stage. Still a funny thing.
The always loose high voltage cable.
Enough whining, time to test.
The first test light in the picture tube. The line transformer still works.
After a first series of bad solder connections, we have noise and snow.
After a test image generator is connected, the TV shows this image.
Everything is very unstable.
And the mid-frequency avr doesn't work.
After another series of bad contacts, we have more results and even color.
After some adjustments, it is already a fairly recognizable image.
Adjusting the neck components.
The chassis K6.
Fix convergence and adjust it.
The image is starting to become something.
Some fine tuning left and right give the following images.
The pm5544 image.
After correcting the line output stage settings.
And with a normal broadcast it looks like this.
