The Philips K12 was not a popular TV with TV technicians.
The bad connectors and the bad ic sockets caused a lot of problems.
Philips did supply good connectors for the device, but hardly anyone replaced them because of the amount of work.
Now 40 years later a device that still works.
The east/west module is soldered into the connector.
