At one point this device came along. A device from my childhood. With many defects.
Here's the first image. many would say sync separator. But no it was the middle frequent.
And very occasionally the grid managed to disappear.
And sometimes there was also image but of course no color.
Well, it is a typical German device.
At one point the mid-frequency stopped working altogether.
A new ic and it works again with still the same crash every now and then.
The image with a new ic in the intermediate frequency.
And very occasionally there was also color.
On the vertical module was a control transistor that occasionally interrupted. That gave a nice horizontal line.
The loss of the video from the mid-frequency were these two beautiful capacitors.
Here's an example of image width instability.
Occasionally the image width collapsed.
The chassis built with modules.
Then there was another convergence problem.
What this potentiometer was the cause of.
The disappearance of the color was a color crystal that occasionally stopped.
And after all that work, the device played again.

Grundig Super Color 1510
A portable color television in the early 1970s.
It was quite unique and much sought after.
And also a beautiful device module technology service friendly.
But despite this, they were sometimes difficult to repair.
